  • Backup your data before starting the installation using CWM or TWRP.
  • Enable USB debugging mode, go to Settings>Developer Options.
  • Your device should be charged at least at 80%.
  • Check the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 model number, ensure you take the right CM12 with the appropriate model number.

  1. Download Android 5.0 CM12 ROM for Galaxy S5 (KLTE).
  2. Connect the Galaxy S5 to the computer using USB cable, copy file you’ve downloaded to the root folder of the SD Card.
  3. Turn off the phone and go to recovery mode by pressing and holding together the Volume Up+Home+Power buttons.
