Tips to fix error in Samsung Galaxy S5 “Unfortunately, the process has stopped” error after Installing Lollipop Update

There have been some report that after updating the android to Loliipop Update, some Samsung galaxy S5 users experienced aproblems of Error, among other is the appearing of message “Unfortunately, the process has stopped” error.

If you experinced this kind of eror during a call or sending message just after the instalatuion of Android update, we suggest you to try clearing the cache and data of the dialer app first.

However, if it does not work, please perform wipe the cache partition to solve that issue, as follows:

  1. Please turn off your Samsung galaxy S5.
  2. After that, plesae press and hold the Volume Up key, Home key, and Power key at the same time.
  3. Plesae wait a while. Once the phone vibrates, release the Power key but continue to press the other two keys.
  4. Please wait, when the Android System Recovery screen appears, you can release the Volume Up and Home keys.
  5. After that, plesae press the Volume Down key to highlight ‘wipe cache partition.’
  6. Next, please press the Power key to select.
  7. Please wait a while till the wipe cache partition is finished
  8. After it is completed, a message of ‘Reboot system now’ will be highlighted.
  9. Please press the Power key to restart the device.
  10. Finished.

To check whether your error has been fixed, plesae try to make atest of calling or sending message in your phone.
